One of Those Days!!

The more I look into the subject of our  prisons and Criminal Justice System, the more disallusioned I become.  Especially about the Great British public, are we really so willing to be led by the nose, swallow all the hype that is fed to us about reform and rehabilitation. The reality these days seems to be revenge first, help and rehabilitation last.  There are no votes for any political party to win campaigning for better treatment of our prisoners.  Let's face it, if we treated them better, educated and informed maybe not so many would end up re offending and back "inside".
